What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Chick Fil A's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, all notices to the Assignee, as part of the assignment agreement, must be delivered to the Assignee at the Assignor's address. This address is specifically listed on the cover page of the Assignment.
This requirement is further detailed by referencing Section 28.1 of the Franchise Agreement and, if applicable, Section 14.1 of each attached Lease to the Franchise Agreement. Additionally, it includes any Concession Sublicense Agreement for a Captive Venue Unit attached to any Additional Business Amendment for a Captive Venue.
For a prospective Chick Fil A franchisee, this means that any official communication related to the assignment of the franchise should be sent to the Assignee at the Assignor's address as indicated on the assignment's cover page. This ensures that all parties are aware of and can respond to important notices regarding the franchise operation and any associated agreements.
