What does the term 'Food Truck License Agreement' refer to in the Chick Fil A FDD?

According to the 2025 Chick Fil A Franchise Disclosure Document, a 'Food Truck License Agreement' refers to any written Food Truck License and Sublease Agreement and Food Truck License Agreement with attached Lease between Chick-fil-A and the Operator. Chick Fil A may offer operators a license to operate one or more Food Trucks as an extension of a particular business, but not as a separate restaurant, business, or independent franchise. The specific terms of the food truck license are detailed in the Food Truck License and Sublease Agreement or Food Truck License Agreement with attached Lease.

Any fees, use, or rental obligations related to the Food Truck are outlined within the Food Truck License Agreement and its attached Food Truck Lease, if applicable. Once completed and executed by both the operator and Chick Fil A, the Food Truck License Agreement, including its attached Food Truck Lease, becomes an amendment to and part of the existing Franchise Agreement.

Chick Fil A is developing a mobile food truck program and has leased a custom food truck, including equipment, furnishing and fixtures in and on the food truck to produce, hold and/or sell a limited menu of Chick-fil-A ® Products. Chick-fil-A grants to the Operator a sublease for the use and occupancy of the Food Truck. The Operator's use of the Food Truck is subject to all applicable laws, rules and regulations and the lease attached as Exhibit "B" to this Agreement and any other exhibits to the attached lease (the "Food Truck Lease").
