What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Chick Fil A Franchise Disclosure Document excerpts provided, it is not explicitly stated whether all Chick Fil A restaurants are required to have a security system. However, the document does mention several points related to data protection, technology usage, and compliance with Chick-fil-A's standards and policies.
The FDD states that operators must comply with all applicable laws and regulations relating to the processing, protection, security, or privacy of personal information. Chick-fil-A may designate or require the use of specific technology or business processing services, including computer and point of sale systems. Operators must also adhere to Chick-fil-A's policies, programs, and other requirements, which Chick-fil-A can modify from time to time.
Prospective franchisees should inquire with Chick-fil-A about specific requirements for security systems, including whether they are mandatory, the types of systems required, and any associated costs. It would also be prudent to ask about insurance requirements and Chick-fil-A's inspection rights to ensure compliance with agreements and standards.
