What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Chick Fil A's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, any individual driving a Chick Fil A food truck must be at least 21 years old. This requirement is part of a set of conditions that must be met, including satisfying all state and local requirements for operating a commercial food truck and all insurer requirements for operating the food truck.

In addition to being at least 21 years old, drivers must also possess a valid driver's license, a copy of which the Operator must maintain. Furthermore, drivers cannot have a history of serious violations within the last five years or more than two moving violations in the last three years. The Operator is responsible for reviewing the driver's Motor Vehicle Record to ensure compliance with these criteria.

It's important to note that if state, local, or insurance requirements are more restrictive than the minimums set by Chick Fil A, those stricter requirements will take precedence. This ensures that all drivers meet the highest safety and legal standards for operating a Chick Fil A food truck.
