What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Chick Fil A's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Exhibit C to the Franchise Agreement represents a concession agreement between Chick Fil A and a third-party owner or manager of a site, referred to as the "Concessionor." This agreement grants Chick Fil A the right to operate a restaurant business or concessions at specific locations. These locations are detailed in Exhibit A, which is a data sheet that can be amended. The site itself is also referred to as the "Concession Location(s)."

This agreement is significant because it outlines the terms under which Chick Fil A can operate in specific venues, such as captive venue units or delivery kitchen units. The Operator, who is the franchisee, enters into an agreement to operate a Captive Venue Unit either as an Additional Business or as the Initial Business. This agreement, along with the Franchise Agreement and all associated exhibits and amendments, forms the complete agreement between Chick Fil A and the Operator.

Exhibit C, therefore, is a critical component of the overall agreement, particularly for franchisees operating in concession locations. It ensures that Chick Fil A has the legal right to conduct business at these sites and sets the stage for the franchisee's operation within those locations. Prospective franchisees should carefully review Exhibit C to understand the specific terms and conditions related to the concession location they will be operating.
