The Service is being licensed, not sold, to you by CDI.
The Agreement does not grant to you any ownership interest in the Service, and CDI and its vendors reserve and will retain their entire right, title and interest in and to the Service and all intellectual property rights arising out of or relating to the Service except as expressly granted to you by Section 1 of the Agreement.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Chem Dry's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Chem-Dry, Inc. (CDI) and its vendors retain all intellectual property rights to the Chem Dry Service. The Software License Agreement specifies that the service is licensed and not sold to the franchisee. Therefore, the franchisee does not gain any ownership interest in the service itself.
