Does Chem Dry reserve the right to change the computer system requirements at its discretion?

Chem Dry may specify certain brands, types, makes, and models of communication, computer systems, and hardware that franchisees must use. These include a compatible computer system that complies with Chem Dry's standards, archival back-up systems, internet access mode and speed, and physical, electronic, and other security systems.

This means that as a Chem Dry franchisee, you must comply with Chem Dry's computer system standards and specifications, and you may be required to purchase and install the computer system, including any upgrades or replacements that Chem Dry specifies. Chem Dry can modify these specifications and components from time to time, so franchisees need to stay updated with the latest requirements.

Furthermore, franchisees are obligated to pay initial and ongoing fees to Chem Dry or its designee for licensing, maintenance, and support of any proprietary computer software/applications provided as part of the computer system. This software may include a credit card or other payment processing function, requiring franchisees to process all payment transactions through this component. Franchisees must also agree to the terms of a Software License Agreement, and any breach of this agreement will be considered a material breach of the franchise agreement.
