What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Chem Dry's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to have their employees sign a confidentiality agreement. Chem Dry considers certain information relating to the methods, techniques, formats, specifications, procedures, information, systems, sales and marketing techniques, and knowledge of the Chem Dry business as confidential.
Chem Dry will disclose this confidential information to the franchisee in the training program, the manual, and/or in guidance furnished to the franchisee. The franchisee acknowledges that this information is proprietary and involves trade secrets of Chem Dry. The franchisee will not acquire any interest in the confidential information, other than the right to utilize it as Chem Dry specifies in the operation of the business during the term of the agreement.
The franchisee must agree to not use or disclose confidential information in any other business, keep the confidential information absolutely confidential during and after the agreement's term, and not make unauthorized copies of any confidential information. Chem Dry also has the right to regulate the form of agreements that the franchisee uses for employee confidentiality.
