CDI's inspections and evaluations may include use of a "Mystery Shopper" program from time to time throughout the term of this Agreement which may include surveys of, and evaluations by, current and previous customers, without notice to FRANCHISEE. What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Chem Dry's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Chem Dry and its designated agents can use a "Mystery Shopper" program to ensure franchisees comply with the franchise agreement and system standards. This program may include surveys and evaluations by current and previous customers, conducted without prior notice to the franchisee.

Chem Dry franchisees are subject to inspections and evaluations, which may include the Mystery Shopper program, to assess the quality of their work. If a franchisee fails an evaluation by Chem Dry or a Mystery Shopper, or if Chem Dry receives a specific customer complaint, the franchisee must cover the costs and expenses of subsequent evaluations and Mystery Shopper visits, in addition to any applicable fines.

This means that a Chem Dry franchisee's performance and customer service can be assessed at any time without their knowledge. Unsatisfactory evaluations can lead to additional expenses for further evaluations and potential fines, creating a direct financial impact on the franchisee. It is important for franchisees to consistently maintain high standards of service to avoid these penalties and uphold the Chem Dry brand's reputation.
