Chem_Dry Franchise · 2024 FDD

Answer from 2024 FDD Document

The Initial Fees listed above are non-refundable.

The Initial License Fee is due at the time you sign the Franchise Agreement and is non-refundable. If we determine that you are creditworthy, we may offer to finance up to forty percent (40%) of the Initial License Fee through a Business Note that you issue and sign on the form we provide when you sign the Franchise Agreement. If we approve you for financing, CDI will finance the remainder of the Initial License Fee through the Business Note over 56 months until the remaining balance is paid in full. All Business Note payments are due on or before the tenth day of each month and are non-refundable.

What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Chem Dry's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial license fee is non-refundable. This fee is due when you sign the Franchise Agreement. Chem Dry may offer financing for up to 40% of the initial license fee through a Business Note, which you would sign at the time of the Franchise Agreement. Payments made via the Business Note are also non-refundable.

This non-refundable policy means that once you pay the initial license fee to Chem Dry, you cannot get it back, even if you later decide not to proceed with the franchise. This is a standard practice in franchising, as the initial fee covers Chem Dry's costs associated with granting you the franchise, such as evaluating your application, providing training, and setting up your territory.

It is important for prospective Chem Dry franchisees to carefully consider their decision before signing the Franchise Agreement and paying the initial license fee. Due diligence, including reviewing the FDD, seeking legal and financial advice, and talking to existing franchisees, is essential to ensure that the Chem Dry franchise is the right fit. Understanding that the initial fee is non-refundable underscores the importance of this thorough evaluation process.

Even if Chem Dry offers financing through a Business Note, the payments made towards that note are also non-refundable. This further emphasizes the financial commitment involved in purchasing a Chem Dry franchise and the need for careful planning and assessment before moving forward.
