What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Chem Dry's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the initial license fee ranges from $6,000 to $18,000. This fee is part of the initial investment required to start a Chem Dry franchise. The initial license fee is due when you sign the Franchise Agreement and the Business Note and is paid to CDI.
Chem Dry offers options for paying the initial license fee. Franchisees can pay the fee in a single lump sum or may be eligible for financing up to 40% of the initial license fee. If financing is chosen, a down payment of $3,600 to $14,100 is required when signing the Franchise Agreement and Business Note.
Chem Dry also provides an incentive for prompt payment. If the initial license fee is paid in full within six months of signing the Franchise Agreement and the Business Note, Chem Dry offers a cash discount of 10% of the initial license fee amount. This discount can significantly reduce the initial investment for franchisees who can pay upfront. It is important to note that CDI does not offer financing on the Initial Package portion of the Initial Fee.
