What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Chem Dry's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Chem Dry reserves the right to modify or discontinue the online software service, either temporarily or permanently, with reasonable notice to franchisees. While Chem Dry is not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Service, they will provide reasonable content transition assistance in the event of discontinuance.
This means that if Chem Dry decides to stop offering the software service, they will help franchisees move their data or content to another system. However, Chem Dry does not specify the exact nature or duration of this assistance, so franchisees should be prepared to manage the transition with potentially limited support.
Prospective franchisees should consider the potential impact of a service discontinuance on their business operations and inquire with Chem Dry about the specific types of content transition assistance they typically provide. Understanding the scope of this assistance is crucial for business continuity planning and mitigating potential disruptions.
