(f) decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer, translate or otherwise attempts to discovery any source code or underlying trade secret pertaining to the Service or modify the Service or any graphic generated by use of the Service; or (g) use, copy, modify, sublicense, or distribute the Service, electronically or otherwise, or any copy, adaptation, transcription or merged portion thereof, except as expressly authorized by CDI.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Chem Dry's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are explicitly prohibited from decompiling, disassembling, or reverse engineering the software service provided to them. This restriction is outlined in the Software License Agreement included as Exhibit G to the Franchise Agreement.
The agreement states that franchisees cannot attempt to discover any source code or underlying trade secrets related to the Service. They are also barred from modifying the Service or any graphics generated by it.
