What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Checkersrallys's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are generally restricted from engaging in catering or delivery operations without prior approval. The Franchise Agreement stipulates that franchisees may only conduct business with customers at the Franchised Restaurant.
However, there is an exception. A Checkersrallys franchisee may be allowed to offer certain delivered products for delivery if they meet Checkersrallys's requirements and elect to participate in the optional Delivery Program. This program provides a pathway for franchisees to offer delivery services, contingent upon meeting specific criteria set by Checkersrallys.
It is important for prospective franchisees to understand the specific requirements for participating in the Delivery Program. They should discuss these requirements with Checkersrallys to determine the feasibility and potential benefits of offering delivery services. Furthermore, franchisees should seek clarity on what constitutes "certain Delivered Products" and any associated restrictions or guidelines.
