What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Checkersrallys Franchise Disclosure Document, the specific supporting documentation required to qualify for an incentive depends on the nature of the incentive itself. For existing franchisees seeking an incentive, they must provide documentation demonstrating they are current franchisees in good standing and in full compliance with all agreements with Checkersrallys and its affiliates. They also need to show they can open the franchised restaurant within one year of signing the Franchise Agreement.

For a woman seeking an incentive, the franchisee must provide documentation showing that they are, or at least a 51% owner in them is, a woman that qualifies for the Incentive. Similarly, for veterans seeking an incentive, they must provide documentation proving they are a veteran of the United States military and have been honorably discharged.

In all cases, Checkersrallys retains the right to request this documentation and the franchisee agrees to provide it promptly. The FDD specifies that these representations are made to Checkersrallys' satisfaction, indicating that Checkersrallys has discretion in determining whether the documentation is sufficient. Prospective franchisees should clarify with Checkersrallys exactly what documents are acceptable to prove eligibility for a specific incentive.
