What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Checkersrallys's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, to qualify for the veteran incentive program, a prospective franchisee must provide supporting documentation to prove they are a veteran of the United States military or that at least 51% of the ownership is held by a veteran. This documentation must also demonstrate that the veteran received an honorable discharge from the United States military.
This requirement ensures that the franchisee meets the eligibility criteria for the reduced initial franchise fee, which is reduced to zero dollars for qualifying veterans. The documentation serves as verification for Checkersrallys to grant the incentive.
It is important for prospective franchisees who are veterans to gather the necessary documentation to take advantage of this incentive. Failure to provide adequate proof of veteran status and honorable discharge may result in the franchisee not receiving the reduced initial franchise fee, requiring them to pay the standard initial franchise fee.
