What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Checkersrallys Franchise Disclosure Document, the specific supporting documentation required to qualify for an incentive depends on the nature of the incentive itself. For existing franchisees seeking the Existing Franchisee Incentive, they must demonstrate they are current franchisees in good standing and in full compliance with all agreements with Checkersrallys and its affiliates. They also need to agree to open the Franchised Restaurant within one year of signing the Franchise Agreement.
For women seeking the incentive, they must provide documentation showing that they are, or at least a 51% owner in them is, a woman. For veterans seeking the incentive, they must provide documentation that they are, or at least a 51% owner in them is, a veteran of the United States military and have been honorably discharged. This is evidenced by relevant supporting documentation.
Checkersrallys retains the right to request this documentation, and the franchisee must provide it promptly. Failure to meet these qualifications or provide the necessary documentation can result in the loss of the incentive. It is important for prospective franchisees to understand these requirements and gather the necessary documentation to ensure they can take advantage of any available incentives.
