What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Checkersrallys's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must provide supporting documentation in connection with signing the Non-Traditional Site Addendum. Specifically, the franchisee must represent that they are authorized, or will obtain due authorization, to establish and operate a Restaurant within or from the premises of a Non-Traditional Site.

To support this representation, Checkersrallys requires the franchisee to provide relevant supporting documentation. This documentation can either be provided at the time of signing the addendum or promptly upon Checkersrallys's request. The FDD does not specify the exact type of documentation required, but it generally relates to demonstrating the franchisee's authorization to operate at the non-traditional site.

In addition to demonstrating authorization to operate at the non-traditional site, the franchisee must also represent and provide documentation showing that they will remain a franchisee in good standing and comply with the Franchise Agreement. This ensures that the franchisee meets Checkersrallys's standards for franchisees and will continue to adhere to the terms of the agreement. Prospective franchisees should clarify with Checkersrallys the specific documents needed to prove authorization and good standing to ensure compliance with the Non-Traditional Site Addendum.
