What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Checkersrallys's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Checkersrallys will furnish franchisees with their standard site selection criteria for Restaurants. However, Checkersrallys is not required to provide on-site evaluation of proposed restaurant sites. Instead, Checkersrallys will provide on-site evaluation of sites as they deem necessary or appropriate.
As part of the application process, franchisees must submit a complete application for a franchise and a site application form for each proposed site. This application should include a description of the proposed site, covering traffic patterns, parking, neighborhood character, competition, proximity to other businesses, and a letter of intent or evidence confirming favorable prospects for obtaining the site.
Checkersrallys will then accept or reject each site based on these applications. The FDD states that the site acceptance letter, duly executed by Checkersrallys, is the exclusive means by which they accept a proposed site. Checkersrallys will use reasonable efforts to make a site acceptance decision within 30 days after acknowledging receipt of the complete site report and any other requested materials. In deciding whether to accept or reject a site, Checkersrallys may consider factors such as the general location, neighborhood, demographic information, traffic patterns, access, visibility, the location of other restaurants, and the physical characteristics of the site.
