What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Checkersrallys's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must adhere to the social media policies established by Checkersrallys. These policies apply not only to the franchisee but also extend to all owners and employees associated with the franchise.
Checkersrallys may maintain its own social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook. Franchisees are prohibited from establishing or maintaining any social media sites that utilize Checkersrallys's trademarks without prior written consent from Checkersrallys. Checkersrallys also has the right to designate regional or territory-specific usernames or handles for franchisees to maintain.
This requirement ensures that the Checkersrallys brand is consistently represented across all social media platforms and that franchisees do not create any confusion or dilute the brand's image. It also allows Checkersrallys to control the messaging and content associated with its brand, which is crucial for maintaining its reputation and customer loyalty. Franchisees should be aware of these policies and ensure full compliance to avoid any potential breach of the franchise agreement.
