What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Checkersrallys's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must submit a description of the proposed site, including a summary of items related to the site, along with a letter of intent or other evidence confirming favorable prospects for obtaining the proposed site.

Checkersrallys will then use reasonable efforts to either approve or disapprove the proposed site within thirty days of receiving the franchisee's written proposal. If Checkersrallys does not approve the proposed site, the franchisee is responsible for identifying and notifying Checkersrallys of new sites until one is approved for the franchised restaurant.

Upon approval of a site, Checkersrallys will insert its address into Exhibit B of the franchise agreement, designating it as the Premises. However, the FDD states that the failure to insert the address into Exhibit B does not automatically affect the enforceability of the agreement.
