What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Checkersrallys's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchise agreement cannot include a prohibition on a franchisee's right to join an association of franchisees. This means Checkersrallys franchisees have the freedom to form or join groups with other franchisees to discuss issues, negotiate with the franchisor, or advocate for their collective interests.
This protection ensures that franchisees are not isolated and can work together to address common concerns or improve their business operations. By explicitly stating that such prohibitions are void and unenforceable, Checkersrallys acknowledges the importance of franchisee collaboration and communication.
This clause is particularly beneficial for prospective franchisees as it provides assurance that they will have the right to connect with other franchisees and collectively address any issues that may arise within the Checkersrallys franchise system. This fosters a more collaborative and supportive environment within the franchise network.
