What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Checkersrallys's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the formal acceptance of a proposed restaurant site occurs through the delivery of a standard franchise site package, including a site acceptance letter duly executed by Checkersrallys. This letter serves as the exclusive means by which Checkersrallys accepts a proposed site. No other form of communication, whether written or verbal, from any officer, employee, or agent of Checkersrallys is considered binding.
To initiate the site selection process, a prospective Checkersrallys franchisee must submit a complete application for a franchise and a site application form for each proposed site. This application should align with Checkersrallys's standard site selection criteria and include details such as traffic patterns, parking availability, neighborhood characteristics, and competitive analysis. A letter of intent or other evidence confirming favorable prospects for obtaining the proposed site should also be included.
Checkersrallys aims to make a decision on site acceptance and, if approved, deliver the site acceptance letter within 30 days after acknowledging receipt of the complete site report and any other requested materials. In evaluating a proposed site, Checkersrallys considers various factors, including the location, demographics, traffic patterns, accessibility, visibility, the presence of other restaurants, and the site's physical characteristics. However, Checkersrallys does not provide any guarantee that a suggested or approved site will be profitable or successful.
Upon acceptance of the site and demonstration of the necessary financial and management capabilities, Checkersrallys will offer a franchise agreement. The franchisee must then execute and return this agreement, along with all required ancillary documents and initial fees, within a specified timeframe (not earlier than 7 days and not later than 21 days). Failure to comply with these requirements may result in Checkersrallys revoking the franchise offer and site acceptance.
