Checkersrallys Franchise · 2025 FDDAnswer from 2025 FDD Document
Our site acceptance letter, duly executed by us, is the exclusive means by which we accept a proposed site, and no other direct or indirect representation, approval or acceptance, whether in writing or verbally, by any of our officers, employees or agents, shall be effective or bind us.
We will use all reasonable efforts to make a site acceptance decision and, if the site is accepted, deliver a site acceptance letter to you, within 30 days after we acknowledge receipt of the complete site report and any other materials we have requested.
In deciding whether to accept or reject a site you propose, we may consider such factors as we, in our sole discretion, deem appropriate, including the general location and neighborhood, demographic information, traffic patterns, access, visibility, location of other restaurants and food establishments (including other Restaurants) and size, condition, configuration, appearance and other physical characteristics of the site.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Checkersrallys's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the exclusive means by which Checkersrallys accepts a proposed site is through a site acceptance letter, duly executed by them. This letter is part of their standard franchise site package. No other form of representation, approval, or acceptance, whether written or verbal, from any officer, employee, or agent of Checkersrallys is considered effective or binding.
This means that a prospective Checkersrallys franchisee cannot rely on any informal assurances or agreements regarding site approval. Only the official site acceptance letter carries legal weight. Checkersrallys aims to make a decision on site acceptance and deliver the letter, if the site is approved, within 30 days after acknowledging receipt of the complete site report and any other requested materials.
Checkersrallys has the sole discretion to decide whether to accept or reject a proposed site, considering factors such as the general location, neighborhood, demographic information, traffic patterns, access, visibility, the location of other restaurants and food establishments (including other Checkersrallys Restaurants), and the site's size, condition, configuration, appearance, and other physical characteristics. This wide latitude in decision-making underscores the importance of submitting a comprehensive and compelling site application.
This process is fairly standard in the franchise industry, as franchisors typically maintain control over site selection to ensure brand consistency and optimize the chances of success. Franchisees should ensure they understand Checkersrallys's site selection criteria and gather all necessary information to support their application.
