What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Checkers' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Checkers will prepare an annual statement of monies collected and costs incurred by the National Production Fund (NPF). Upon a franchisee's written request, Checkers will furnish them with a copy of this statement.
The NPF is used for the creation and production of marketing materials and advertising campaigns. Franchisees are required to contribute to the NPF, with contributions not to exceed three percent (3%) of Net Sales. These contributions are payable semi-monthly along with royalty fees.
This statement provides transparency to Checkers franchisees, allowing them to see how the NPF is being managed and how their contributions are being used. Franchisees have the right to request this statement in writing, ensuring they can stay informed about the fund's financial activities.
