What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Checkers' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Table A includes net sales information for restaurants open and operating for at least 350 days during the 52-week period ending December 30, 2024. This period is referred to as the "2024 Fiscal Year" in the document. The table includes data from 121 company-owned and 335 franchised Checkers restaurants.
It's important to note that not all Checkers restaurants are included in Table A. Specifically, the table excludes net sales for 2 company-owned and 27 franchised Checkers restaurants that were open for less than 350 days during the 2024 Fiscal Year. Additionally, 3 company-owned and 35 franchised Checkers restaurants that were closed during the 2024 Fiscal Year are also excluded from Table A.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that the net sales figures presented in Table A represent a subset of Checkers restaurants that were consistently operating throughout the majority of the 2024 fiscal year. The FDD provides additional tables with net sales information for restaurants open less than 350 days and for the first year of operation. Reviewing all Item 19 tables will give a prospective franchisee a more complete picture of potential sales performance.
