What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Checkers' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Checkers does offer a Vet Fran Incentive Addendum. This addendum is included as Exhibit B-4 to the Franchise Agreement.
The Vet Fran Incentive Addendum is designed to provide benefits to qualified veterans of the United States military forces. Under this incentive program, Checkers offers these qualified franchisees a waiver of the initial franchise fee that is typically required under the standard franchise agreement.
For prospective franchisees who are veterans, this incentive can significantly reduce the initial investment required to start a Checkers franchise. By waiving the initial franchise fee, Checkers aims to support veterans in their transition to business ownership, making it more financially accessible for them to join the Checkers franchise system.
