What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Chatime's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Chatime Menu does include specifications related to the products. The FDD defines the Chatime Menu as the food and beverage items specified in the Operations Manual or otherwise in writing by Chatime, which must be offered for sale by franchisees from outlets, and includes, as relevant, any specifications in relation to those products.
This means that franchisees are required to adhere to Chatime's standards and specifications for all products offered on the Chatime Menu. These specifications are detailed in the Operations Manual or in other written communications from Chatime. The franchisee must offer the complete range of food and beverage items on the Chatime Menu and prepare them according to the Chatime Menu specifications.
This requirement ensures consistency across all Chatime locations, maintaining brand standards and customer expectations. Franchisees are not allowed to offer, sell, or supply any food or beverages that are not specified on the Chatime Menu, and they must acquire all products (including raw materials) required to prepare products on the Chatime Menu only from approved suppliers. This helps Chatime maintain quality control and protect its brand image.
