What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Chatime's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are asked to acknowledge their understanding of factors influencing the success of their franchise. Specifically, they must indicate whether they understand that their success depends on their skills, experience, business acumen, location, local market, interest rates, the economy, inflation, employee management and compensation, competition, and other economic and business factors.
If a prospective Chatime franchisee answers 'no' to understanding these factors, they are required to provide a comment. This comment allows the franchisee to explain their lack of understanding or any concerns they may have.
This requirement ensures that franchisees are aware of the various elements that can impact their business and provides an opportunity for them to seek clarification or additional information from Chatime before committing to the franchise.
