Does Chatime guarantee special training courses such as service competency staff training, promotional training, other pre-opening support, and continuous organizational support?

According to Chatime's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Chatime may offer special training courses such as service competency staff training, promotional training, other pre-opening support, and continuous organizational support at their discretion.

The initial training program includes sales and Chatime store operations management, staff training and scheduling, local area marketing, Chatime store management, raw material inventory and controls, and basic Chatime store maintenance. The initial training program involves approximately two weeks of instruction for up to a maximum of four persons trained together at the same time. Chatime will provide additional Initial Training Programs for any additional personnel at the franchisee's cost.

Chatime also requires a series of ongoing competency-based training for the franchisee, their senior managers, and any guarantors throughout the term of the agreement. This training will be conducted either in person, digitally, or a combination of blended learning and must be successfully completed. If the franchisee fails to complete the approved training programs in a timely manner and to Chatime's satisfaction, Chatime will provide additional training at the franchisee's cost at a location within their Territory or at such other location Chatime determines. The franchisee will pay Chatime reasonable compensation and reimburse them for all associated costs and expenses including, without limitation, costs for compensation, travel, accommodations, and meals, upon receipt of their invoice.
