The Franchisor is Chatime Franchise, LLC, which will be referred to as "Chatime," "we," or "us." The term "you" or "Franchisee" means the person or legal entity that is granted the franchise and the direct and indirect owners of any legal entity that becomes a franchisee. Our affiliates license franchised Chatime Stores and operate company-owned Chatime Stores both in the U.S. and internationally. We do not conduct any business activity other than franchising Chatime Stores and other Stores under different marks.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Chatime Franchise Disclosure Document, Chatime Franchise, LLC's sole business activity is franchising Chatime stores and other stores under different marks. However, Chatime has several affiliates that are involved in other business activities. Chatime's affiliate, Chatime Wholesale LLC, sells products and branded supplies to Chatime franchisees. Other affiliates, Chatime Los Angeles LLC and Chatime Los Angeles West, LLC, own and operate company-owned Chatime store locations in California.
Chatime's parent company, Chatime Global LLC, is owned in part by Chatime International Corp. Chatime International is owned by Chatime Group Pty Ltd, which has been offering Chatime franchises in Australia since 2009 and has 168 franchised and corporate-run Chatime outlets in Australia. Chatime Global is also owned in part by Chatime NorthStar LLC, which is owned by La Kaffa International Co., Ltd. La Kaffa licenses Chatime the right to use the Chatime trademarks and trade names. La Kaffa has been operating similar businesses since January 2008 and currently operates approximately 1,112 Chatime stores worldwide, either directly or through franchisees. La Kaffa also offers franchises for other store concepts, including La Kaffa Coffee, ZenQ Dessert, Bake Code, Chatime Lounge, and Duan Chun Zhen.
Chatime USA, LLC, another affiliate, offered Chatime franchises in the United States from February 2014 to June 2022. As of December 31, 2024, Chatime USA had one operating franchised and licensed Chatime Store in the United States. From 2016 to 2020, Chatime USA operated one company-owned Chatime Store in New York, and from 2017 to 2018, it operated an additional company-owned Chatime Store in New York. Prospective franchisees should be aware of these related entities and their activities, as they may impact the franchise system and the franchisee's business.
