What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Central Bark Doggy Day Care's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the Royalty Fee, which is 6% of Gross Sales, is due on the first business day after the 15th day of the following month. The Royalty Fee must be transmitted via electronic funds transfer.
Central Bark Doggy Day Care requires franchisees to report their Gross Sales for the immediately preceding month by electronic means on or before the 10th day of the month. Franchisees authorize Central Bark Doggy Day Care for direct debits from their business bank operating account. The funds must be available for withdrawal by electronic transfer no later than the first business day following the 15th day of the month.
If a franchisee fails to report Gross Sales, Central Bark Doggy Day Care is authorized to debit the franchisee's account in an amount equal to the fees transferred from the account for the last reporting period for which a report of Gross Sales was provided. If Central Bark Doggy Day Care determines that a franchisee has underreported Gross Sales or underpaid Royalty Fees, Central Bark Doggy Day Care is authorized to initiate immediately a debit to the franchisee's account in the appropriate amount, plus interest as provided for in the Franchise Agreement. Any overpayment will be credited to the franchisee's account through a credit effective as of the first reporting date after both parties determine that a credit is due.
