What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Central Bark Doggy Day Care Franchise Disclosure Document, Central Bark Doggy Day Care does provide opening assistance for a period of five days. This assistance typically starts at least two days before the scheduled opening of the franchised business. As part of this assistance, a member of Central Bark Doggy Day Care's operational staff or store personnel will be present to assist the franchisee during the first day of operation. However, this assistance is provided at the franchisee's expense.

If a franchisee requires additional assistance beyond the initial five-day period and Central Bark Doggy Day Care's personnel are available, the franchisee must pay the then-current fee, which is currently $500 per day. In addition to this daily fee, the franchisee is also responsible for covering the cost of lodging and meals for the personnel providing the assistance.

It is important to note that if a franchisee is opening their franchised business under their third or subsequent Franchise Agreement signed pursuant to a MUFA (Multi-Unit Franchise Agreement), Central Bark Doggy Day Care will not offer, and the franchisee will not be required to complete, the initial training program.
