ening the Franchised Business include, but are not limited to the following: finding a suitable location, negotiating lease terms, obtaining permits and licenses, build-out and renovations, securing financing, staff recruitment and training, and ordering and obtaining necessary fixtures, furniture, and equipment. You may not open the Franchised Business without our prior written approval. You must complete all required development and open the Franchised Business for business within 300 days after the date you sign the Franchise Agreement, or we will have the right to terminate the Franchise Agreement.

Training.

Before opening your CENTRAL BARK facility, you (or, if you are a corporation, partnership, or limited liability company, an individual with at least 51% ownership interest and voting power who will serve as the chief executive officer, referred to as the "Managing Owner") must attend and successfully complete a 10-day initial training program conducted by us. The training will

take place in Franklin, Wisconsin, or at another location we designate, or virtually, at our discretion. You (or your Managing Owner) must complete all phases of the training program to our satisfaction and participate in all other activities required to open the Franchised Business. We reserve the right to determine the curriculum and duration of the training program.

You may also send managers or other key personnel to the initial training program. If such individuals have not signed the Franchise Agreement or the Owner's Guaranty and Assumption of Obligations, they must sign our then-current form of confidentiality agreement. If you send additional personnel to the training program, you must pay our then-current per diem training fee (currently $500 per person). You are solely responsible for all compensation, travel, lodging, and living expenses incurred by you (or your Managing Owner) and your personnel in connection with the initial training program or any supplemental or refresher training.

We also provide opening assistance for a period of five (5) days, typically beginning at least two (2) days prior to the scheduled opening of your Franchised Business. This includes the presence of one member of our operational staff or store personnel to assist you during your first day of operation. This assistance is provided at your expense. If you request additional assistance beyond the initial five-day period and our personnel are available, you must pay us our then-current fee (currently $500 per day), plus the cost of lodging and meals for our personnel.

If you are opening your Franchised Business under your third or subsequent Franchise Agreement signed pursuant to a MUFA, we will not offer, and you will not be required to complete, the initial training program.

After your Franchised Business opens, we will provide training to any new manager you hire, subject to reasonable limitations we may impose regarding frequency and timing. We may charge a reasonable fee for this training (currently $500 per day).

If a franchisee (or Managing Owner) does not feel fully trained and has completed all phases of the program, Central Bark Doggy Day Care will consider them sufficiently trained. However, if Central Bark Doggy Day Care determines that the franchisee (or Managing Owner) cannot complete the program to their satisfaction, they may terminate the Franchise Agreement and refund $10,000 of the initial franchise fee, provided the franchisee has signed all required releases and waivers. Additional or refresher training courses may also be required, with all associated costs borne by the franchisee and their employees.
