Dogs Are Us, Inc., located at 710 Village Center Drive, Colorado Springs, Colorado, is currently doing business as Central Bark Dog Day Care. BVI and Dogs Are Us, Inc. entered into an agreement prohibiting Dogs Are Us, Inc.'s use of the trademark "CENTRAL BARK" outside of the Colorado Springs, Colorado metropolitan area.
We do not know of any infringing uses that could materially affect your use of the Marks.

PATENTS, COPYRIGHTS, AND PROPRIETARY INFORMATION
Patents and Copyrights
There are no patents material to the operation of your CENTRAL BARK franchise. We claim copyright protection in the CENTRAL BARK Operating Manual, training materials, marketing and advertising content, and other proprietary documents and media (collectively, the "Copyrighted Materials"). These materials may or may not be registered with the U.S. Copyright Office but are considered proprietary, confidential, and our intellectual property. You may use them only as expressly permitted under the Franchise Agreement.
We reserve the right to register any of our Copyrighted Materials at any time. As of the date of this Disclosure Document, there are no effective determinations by the U.S. Copyright Office or any court regarding these materials. We are not aware of any agreements that materially limit our ability to use or license these materials, nor are we aware of any infringing uses that would materially affect your use of them. We are not obligated to protect or defend any patent, trademark, or copyright, although we may choose to do so at our discretion.
Confidential Information
Our confidential and proprietary information includes, but is not limited to, the Operating Manual, marketing strategies, customer data, vendor relationships, and operational methods and techniques (collectively, the "Confidential Information"). You do not acquire any ownership interest in this information. Your right to use it is limited to the development and operation of your CENTRAL BARK franchise during the term of the Franchise Agreement.
You must take reasonable steps to prevent unauthorized use or disclosure of our Confidential Information, including informing your employees of their obligations and, if required, having them sign a non-disclosure agreement. You must promptly notify us of any unauthorized use or disclosure. While we are not obligated to take enforcement action, we may do so at our discretion.

Furthermore, if you, as a franchisee, develop or acquire any enhancements, adaptations, modifications, or new processes related to the operation of your Central Bark Doggy Day Care franchise, you agree to assign all rights in those Improvements to Central Bark Doggy Day Care without additional compensation. Central Bark Doggy Day Care may incorporate such Improvements into their system for use by them, their affiliates, and other franchisees.
