You must complete all required development and open the Franchised Business for business within 300 days after the date you sign the Franchise Agreement, or we will have the right to terminate the Franchise Agreement.

Training.

Before opening your CENTRAL BARK facility, you (or, if you are a corporation, partnership, or limited liability company, an individual with at least 51% ownership interest and voting power who will serve as the chief executive officer, referred to as the "Managing Owner") must attend and successfully complete a 10-day initial training program conducted by us. The training will

take place in Franklin, Wisconsin, or at another location we designate, or virtually, at our discretion. You (or your Managing Owner) must complete all phases of the training program to our satisfaction and participate in all other activities required to open the Franchised Business. We reserve the right to determine the curriculum and duration of the training program.

According to Central Bark Doggy Day Care's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, before opening a Central Bark Doggy Day Care facility, the Managing Owner, defined as an individual with at least 51% ownership interest and voting power who will serve as the chief executive officer, must attend and successfully complete a 10-day initial training program. This training program is conducted by Central Bark Doggy Day Care. Central Bark Doggy Day Care also allows managers or other key personnel to attend the initial training program. If these individuals have not signed the Franchise Agreement or the Owner's Guaranty and Assumption of Obligations, they must sign Central Bark Doggy Day Care's then-current form of confidentiality agreement. If the franchisee sends additional personnel to the training program, they must pay Central Bark Doggy Day Care's then-current per diem training fee, which is currently $500 per person. The franchisee is solely responsible for all compensation, travel, lodging, and living expenses incurred by the Managing Owner and their personnel in connection with the initial training program or any supplemental or refresher training.
