What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Central Bark Doggy Day Care's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company does not unreasonably withhold approval of suppliers who meet their standards for quality, reliability, and compatibility. However, Central Bark Doggy Day Care may require a franchisee to discontinue using a product or service if it fails to meet their standards.
To request approval for a new supplier, a Central Bark Doggy Day Care franchisee can do so one year after their franchise opens. The franchisee must submit a written request with three product samples and a nonrefundable application fee (currently $250). Central Bark Doggy Day Care evaluates these requests quarterly and will notify the franchisee of their decision before the next quarter.
Central Bark Doggy Day Care may investigate the proposed supplier and require product testing. Approval may be withheld at their sole discretion or their affiliates' discretion, especially if an exclusive supplier has already been designated. Continued approval depends on Central Bark Doggy Day Care's ability to inspect the supplier's facilities and products.
