What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Central Bark Doggy Day Care's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the 'Emergencies' classroom training, which lasts 1.5 hours, is held in Franklin, Wisconsin, or at another location that Central Bark Doggy Day Care designates. This training is part of the initial training program that franchisees or their Managing Owner must complete before opening their Central Bark Doggy Day Care facility.
The initial training program is a 10-day program that takes place in Franklin, Wisconsin, or at another location designated by Central Bark Doggy Day Care, or virtually, at their discretion. Franchisees may also send managers or other key personnel to the initial training program, but they must pay a per diem training fee, which is currently $500 per person. Franchisees are responsible for all compensation, travel, lodging, and living expenses incurred by them and their personnel in connection with the initial training program or any supplemental or refresher training.
Central Bark Doggy Day Care also may offer additional or refresher training courses and require franchisees (or their Managing Owner) and other employees to attend these courses, including courses and programs provided by third-parties they designate. These courses may be conducted at their headquarters or at any other locations selected by them, or virtually, in their determination, and will be offered at the times they designate. Franchisees must pay all costs and expenses they and their employees incur when attending the training courses, including costs of travel, living expenses, and wages.
