Can the classroom training for Central Bark Doggy Day Care be completed remotely online?

According to Central Bark Doggy Day Care's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a portion of the classroom training may be completed remotely online. The initial training program is 10 days long and is required for the franchisee or the Managing Owner to attend and successfully complete. The training will take place in Franklin, Wisconsin, or at another location Central Bark Doggy Day Care designates, or virtually, at their discretion.

Central Bark Doggy Day Care also may offer additional or refresher training courses and require the franchisee (or Managing Owner) and other employees to attend these courses, including courses and programs provided by third-parties they designate. These courses may be conducted at their headquarters or at any other locations selected by them, or virtually, in their determination, and will be offered at the times they designate. The franchisee must pay all costs and expenses they and their employees incur when attending the training courses, including costs of travel, living expenses, and wages.

Athena Olsen will supervise the training program. Carla Dusel and Laura Tuttle will also serve as one of the training instructors. The instruction materials consist of training videos, a training-specific website and related documents, and the Operating Manual.
