When is the Sublease Base Rent due for Cd One Price Cleaners franchisees?

Each installment of Sublease Base Rent for any full or partial calendar month during the Sublease Term occurring after the calendar month in which the Commencement Date occurs shall be due and payable by Subtenant on or before the last Friday of the previous calendar month.
If the Commencement Date occurs on a day other than the first day of a month, and/or the Sublease Term ends on a day other than the last day of a month, Sublease Base Rent and Additional Rent (defined below) for the first and last months of the Sublease Term shall be prorated.

According to Cd One Price Cleaners' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Sublease Base Rent is due in advance monthly. Each installment of Sublease Base Rent for any full or partial calendar month during the Sublease Term occurring after the calendar month in which the Commencement Date occurs is due and payable by the Subtenant on or before the last Friday of the previous calendar month.
For a prospective Cd One Price Cleaners franchisee, this means that rent for the upcoming month must be paid by the last Friday of the current month. For example, rent for the month of November must be paid on or before the last Friday of October. This payment schedule ensures that Cd One Price Cleaners franchisees are always one month ahead on their rent payments.
Additionally, if the Commencement Date (the date the Sublease Term begins) falls on a day other than the first day of the month, or if the Sublease Term ends on a day other than the last day of the month, the Sublease Base Rent for the first and last months of the Sublease Term will be prorated. This proration ensures that the franchisee only pays for the actual number of days they occupy the premises during those partial months.
