What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Cd One Price Cleaners' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is responsible for covering all expenses associated with training programs. This includes costs related to transportation, lodging, meals, and any compensation for participants associated with the store. This applies to the initial training program, additional brand standard training, and the Initial PUD Training if the franchisee signs the PUD Addendum.

For a new Cd One Price Cleaners store, the initial training program covers up to two people at no additional charge. However, the franchisee must pay a training fee of $100 per day if acquiring an existing CD Store. Additionally, the franchisee is responsible for expenses incurred during the owner orientation training program, excluding the training itself, which is provided free of charge.

If a franchisee hires a new store manager or production manager, they must ensure that the individual completes the online learning programs and other training-related requirements specified by Cd One Price Cleaners within the given timeframe. The franchisee is responsible for all costs associated with this training as well. This means that franchisees need to budget not only for their own training but also for the ongoing training of their staff to comply with Cd One Price Cleaners' standards.

Prospective franchisees should consider these training costs when evaluating the overall investment required to start and operate a Cd One Price Cleaners franchise. It is important to factor in travel, accommodation, and potential salary costs for employees attending training to accurately assess the financial implications.
