What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Cd One Price Cleaners FDD, the "PUD Territory" refers to the geographic area outlined in Exhibit A of the franchise agreement. Franchisees are authorized to advertise, market, offer, and provide Pickup and Delivery (PUD) services exclusively within this designated PUD Territory. They are explicitly prohibited from extending these services to any locations outside of the PUD Territory.
Cd One Price Cleaners franchisees are obligated to provide PUD services to all Standard Customers, including both residential and business clients, within the PUD Territory, adhering to the Standard Terms outlined in the franchise agreement. However, providing PUD services to Non-Standard Customers requires prior review and approval from both Cd One Price Cleaners and COW (presumably a third-party logistics or service provider). This approval process involves submitting requested customer information and proposed variations to the Standard Terms, and potentially covering associated review costs and system changes.
Cd One Price Cleaners franchisees are restricted from offering PUD services to customers outside the PUD Territory, to customers not enrolled through the designated Order Processing System, or to Non-Standard Customers lacking franchisor approval. Failure to comply with these stipulations constitutes a breach of the addendum to the franchise agreement. This ensures that franchisees focus their PUD service efforts within their assigned territory and adhere to the franchisor's standards and procedures.
