If you sign the PUD Addendum, we will provide an initial training program on the performance of PUD Services and the use of the Order Processing System (defined below) (the "Initial PUD Training"). We plan to be flexible in scheduling Initial PUD Training. There currently are no fixed (i.e., monthly or bi-monthly) training schedules for these programs. We provide these training programs before the you plan to start providing PUD Services.

We may terminate the Franchise Agreement if we conclude that you or your personnel attending training do not appear to possess the skills necessary to properly provide the PUD Services. Your trained personnel must then provide training to your drivers and other personnel on the performance of PUD Services and the use of the Order Processing System under the PUD Standards. We provide the Initial PUD Training at no additional charge, but you must pay all expenses incurred in training programs, including the costs of transportation, lodging, meals and any compensation for participants associated with Store. You may not begin providing PUD Services until we notify you and COW that your personnel have completed the Initial PUD Training and COW has completed all adaptations to and testing of the Order Processing System, including territory set up, in order to accept orders from your PUD Services customers. Advertising and Marketing
Marketing Fund
We maintain and administer a marketing fund (the "Marketing Fund") to promote CD Stores in the United States. You must contribute to the Marketing Fund the amount that we periodically specify, up to 3% of Gross Revenues.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Cd One Price Cleaners Franchise Disclosure Document, Cd One Price Cleaners does provide an initial training program for franchisees who sign the PUD Addendum to offer Pick-Up and Delivery (PUD) Services. This Initial PUD Training covers the performance of PUD Services and the use of the Order Processing System. The franchisor aims to be flexible in scheduling this training, without fixed monthly or bi-monthly schedules, and provides it before the franchisee starts offering PUD Services.
Before a Cd One Price Cleaners franchisee can provide PUD Services, the franchisee (or their Designated Principal) and either the Store's general manager or assistant manager must complete the Initial PUD Training to the franchisor's satisfaction. The franchisor can terminate the Franchise Agreement if they believe the franchisee or their personnel lack the necessary skills to provide PUD Services properly. After completing the franchisor's training, the franchisee's trained personnel must then train their drivers and other staff on performing PUD Services and using the Order Processing System, following the PUD Standards.
The franchisor provides the Initial PUD Training at no additional charge. However, the franchisee is responsible for all expenses incurred during training, including transportation, lodging, meals, and compensation for participants. A franchisee cannot begin offering PUD Services until Cd One Price Cleaners notifies them and COW (the current exclusive provider of order processing services) that their personnel have completed the Initial PUD Training and COW has completed all necessary adaptations and testing of the Order Processing System. The franchisee must begin providing PUD Services within 10 business days after receiving this notice, referred to as the "PUD Start Date."
