What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Cd One Price Cleaners's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee can only share confidential information with specific individuals. The franchisee is permitted to divulge confidential information only to employees who require it to perform their job responsibilities. These employees must also keep the information confidential.
This condition emphasizes the importance Cd One Price Cleaners places on protecting its proprietary information. This includes the operating manual, marketing strategies, management techniques, and operational plans. Franchisees must ensure their employees understand and adhere to these confidentiality requirements.
Furthermore, Cd One Price Cleaners requires franchisees to ensure that anyone associated with them keeps all confidential information secure. At the franchisor's request, franchisees must also have individuals who have access to confidential information sign confidentiality agreements. These agreements should specifically identify Cd One Price Cleaners as a third-party beneficiary with the independent right to enforce them. This ensures that Cd One Price Cleaners can directly pursue legal action if confidentiality is breached, even by someone not directly employed by the franchisor.
