What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee hires a manager to oversee the daily operations of their franchise, that manager must agree in writing to assume responsibility for the on-site management and supervision of the Franchised Business, becoming an "Operating Manager".
In addition to agreeing to assume responsibility for on-site management, the manager must also sign Casiola's confidentiality and non-competition agreements. Casiola requires that all employees or representatives with access to confidential information sign a confidentiality agreement to protect sensitive business data.
This requirement ensures that the manager is legally bound to protect Casiola's confidential information and operate the business according to Casiola's standards. The franchisee must ensure that the manager meets all minimum standards and criteria for managers and completes the initial training program.
