What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to the 2024 Casiola Franchise Disclosure Document, training requirements depend on the situation. In the event of a franchise transfer, the transferee, the transferee's Managing Owner, managers, and any other applicable employees must complete any training programs in effect for Casiola franchisees. The terms and conditions of this training will be those set forth in the Franchise Agreement or as Casiola otherwise reasonably requires.
In the event of the death or permanent disability of an individual franchisee, their representative must appoint a manager that meets the equivalent of an Operating Manager within 30 days. This appointed manager must then serve, qualify, and successfully complete the Training Program within 60 days of their appointment. If the franchisee is a Corporate Entity and the Managing Owner dies or becomes permanently disabled, the remaining owners must appoint a new Managing Owner approved by Casiola within 30 days. This new Managing Owner must also attend and successfully complete the Training Program within 60 days of their appointment.
These training requirements ensure that new owners and managers are properly equipped to operate the Casiola franchise according to the franchisor's standards. The Operations Manual also contains mandatory and suggested specifications, standards, and operating procedures that Casiola prescribes for its businesses. Franchisees must operate in strict accordance with these guidelines, which may be updated from time to time. Keeping up with these training requirements and operational standards is crucial for maintaining the consistency and quality of the Casiola brand.
