What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must operate their franchised business from an administrative office that adheres to Casiola's standards and specifications, as further detailed in the Operations Manual. The location of the administrative office requires Casiola's written approval. The administrative office should not be accessible to the public or customers.

Depending on local zoning laws and regulations, which the franchisee must independently verify, a franchisee's personal residence may serve as the administrative office. Otherwise, the administrative office must be a commercial location within the operating market. Casiola may provide preliminary plans and specifications for an administrative office.

The franchisee is responsible for identifying and evaluating a location that meets Casiola's standards, presenting it for approval, and securing it within 60 days of the franchise agreement's effective date, as evidenced by a lease matching the agreement's term. The franchisee must also modify their former Casiola business and administrative office to differentiate it from its former appearance, removing any identifying features and making changes requested by Casiola to de-identify the former business. Failure to comply may result in Casiola making the alterations at the franchisee's expense.
