What This Means (2024 FDD)
The 2024 Casiola FDD states that Casiola may designate itself or its affiliates as the sole and exclusive supplier of various services and products. This includes technology systems, booking systems, and payment processing systems.
According to the FDD, Casiola can benefit from fees and charges derived from these designations, exclusively benefiting Casiola, its affiliates, or their designees. This can occur without any compensation or benefit to the franchisee.
This arrangement means that Casiola franchisees may be required to use specific suppliers chosen by Casiola and that Casiola benefits financially from these arrangements. This could potentially impact the franchisee's costs and revenue, as they may not have the option to choose alternative suppliers or negotiate better rates. Prospective franchisees should consider this when evaluating the Casiola franchise opportunity.
