Who is responsible for the management and supervision of employees at a Casiola franchise?

According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisee is directly responsible for the management and supervision of their employees. Casiola does not provide assistance with hiring or training employees. The franchisee must ensure that all employees wear the proper uniforms with approved Casiola branded apparel and that all System Supplies and Approved Services and Products are prepared, maintained, and served according to System standards and Manuals.

This means that as a Casiola franchisee, you will have full control over your staff but also bear the responsibility for all aspects of their employment. This includes hiring, training, scheduling, and ensuring they adhere to Casiola's standards.

While Casiola does not directly assist with hiring and training, they do require that the franchisee or a managing owner and one management-level employee attend an initial training program. Additionally, Casiola may require the franchisee and operating manager to participate in supplemental on-site training, for which the franchisee will be required to pay a supplemental training fee, currently at $750 per on-site trainer per day, plus travel, meals, and accommodation expenses.
