What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Casiola's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, both the franchisee and their Operating Manager may be required to participate in supplemental on-site training. This training is at Casiola's discretion.

The supplemental training may be provided if the franchisee is not meeting Casiola's System performance standards. This training is conducted on-site within the franchisee's Operating Market.

The franchisee is responsible for paying Casiola's then-current supplemental training fee. As of the 2024 FDD, this fee is $750 per on-site trainer per day, in addition to covering travel, meals, and accommodation expenses incurred by Casiola. This could represent a significant, unplanned expense for the franchisee if performance issues arise.

It is common in franchising for franchisors to provide additional training or support to franchisees who are struggling, but the costs and specific requirements can vary widely. Prospective Casiola franchisees should inquire about the typical reasons for supplemental training and the potential costs involved to better understand this aspect of the franchise agreement.
